Marina Guirguis joined Johnson Engineering in summer 2017 as a fresh graduate entering the industry with plans to follow the path of urban and regional planning. Marina’s ambition in the field is driven by a creative and analytical perspective rooted by her background in architectural engineering.
Spending her undergraduate years at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, she fell in love with the world of urban planning and design as well as sustainable and vernacular design practices. This led her to pursue a Master of Design in Sustainable Urban Environments from Northeastern University.
Marina specializes in geographic information system (GIS) analysis and mapping, corridor analysis, site planning and design, public meetings, development projections, and graphic design.
